Who Knew? A Kirkman/Liefeld Killraven ...
Had no idea that Robert Kirkman (writing) & Rob Liefeld (art) co-created 5 issues of a new Killraven series for Marvel back in 2007 that never saw print. Kirkman incorporated Marvel characters into the story that, he felt, would be around during the time of Killraven's adventures.
Man, I'd love to read what was done.

I understand how crazy his proportions are and the total lack of any background drawn except for the bodies ..but I'd take his art over much of the fill in artists marvel is using thes days. Every time I get a subscription to a title .. A month later I'm screaming what the ;(!&@!! Happened to the art in this book!

They're not very good are they? When I buy a comic book what attracts me first to it is the art. If it looks good, I buy it. Even some of the regular artists are meh. It used be the Xmen titles will get the cream of the crop artists but now it looks like it is the cream from the bottom of the barrel. (Sorry, don't mean to be insulting to the newbies because I do know how hard it is to get into the field).

Its not a good day for the industry when people talk about how they'd prefer Liefeld over current artists! Argh!!

Could really give a rat's-butt if it was Liefeld drawing it or not. I was excited about the character Killraven. I collected his full run back in the day when his complete story ran in Amazing Adventures. Besides a Marvel Team-Up and a good 1-shot by Linsner, I always thought he became underused & mostly forgotten. I would have loved to have read a Kirkman', modern interpretation of this character. I've always been more a character reader than an artist one.
