Ebay question... I know, ANOTHER Ebay question!

So - I am bidding on an Auction that is listed at a certain price - but in the description it says that he's starting the auction at a totally different price...

If I win the auction without anyone else bidding and the seller sees he listed it for $100 less than he wanted to - does he have to sell it anyways? Or am I going to get screwed?

I'm pretty sure the auction's listing price (regardless of the description) is binding...

It is definitely a binding contract between the both of you.

This, by no means, he won't just renig on the deal. What is his feed back rating. Does he stand to lose a perfect feedback rating?

You have a good chance that he won't want to ruin that. Now it all depends on the rarity of the item and if its worth more to him to keep it and ruin his feedback or just let it go!
