Snowpiercer (2014) - 7.5/10
Pretty ambitious, I'll give 'em that. I caught this on demand after hearing about it for the past couple months. I believe it's a Korean made sci-fi epic using more than a few American A & B list actors. Post apocalyptic tale set on a train that circles the frozen globe annually. The action was solid & the themes & settings almost surreal at times. Ending was kinda weak but not too so. There's a cannibal monologue given by Chris Pine towards the end that has to be heard. Fresh take on one of my favorite genres.

Chris Pine was awesome though. I barely recognized him. He was completely lost in the character.
