Thank you to everyone responsible for the relaunch of the Sculptor's Corner/From our bench. I look forward to seeing all of the talented artists posting their work here once again.

Mod question: Will the Painters Corner section be open to posting again? As a non sculptor who recently got into painting it is more important for me personally to view the work of painters that actually know what they are doing...it is of great help and was a valuable resource for inspiration. I ask because I do not see a post new thread option in there, will/how can we post our paint work on the Forum now? Thanks!

Just want to thank the Mods for dealing with all this and for finding a more than valid solution. There is absolutely nothing like a fresh start. Let's make the most of a great opportunity by showcasing what we do best: SCULPTING... Critiquing, encouraging, and growing as artists as a community.. Not a marketplace, not a Red Light District (an apt description from a previous post).

@Boondog: I like the War Journal idea and shall partake as soon as I get the chance.

Thanks again Mods!

I know it is next to impossible putting up the old threads, but maybe just the sticky tutorials? Those had great info for newcomers.

....

It's good to see you again ... this parenthesis we've learned a great thing: we are all very linked and it is a joy
Personally I think of the sculptor "incriminated" ...
I am unable to see them as thieves and I'm sad to see them go ...
"banned" what a horrible word shivering.
They are thieves and passionate as us ?? ...
they were taken on a wave and I understand it ... the sales procedures with large workshops are very delicate and must be hugely ... working temp , money, luck and talent
to win a "place in the sun" and
many sculptor does not own everything.
but the forum is not doing to manage all these parameters, it is too complicated I guess.
I have a dream ... that stronger support
the weakest
but it is a dream.
I represent some new and old VIP, I am a sculptor, molder French for 30 years in the industry (stone, wood, resin)
I'm new in the heroic fantasy universe with a passion for Bust 1/1, figure 1/4, 54mm ....
I worked for several months on multiple UNIQUE sculpt for my pleasure and without molding ...
Friendship sincére.
Christ.

Is it okay to post some pics of my sculpts with paints applied? Or do they need to be unfinished looking?

EPang that should be fine mate, as long as there your OOAK sculpts then there's no problem.

Just throw a thread up of your portfolio in the 'From Our Bench' section.

Good to see you fella..

Coolio. Loved the old Sculptors Corner but the last several months felt like majority of the threads were more about soliciting the sculptures rather than about the sculpture work itself so i disappeared for awhile. Im super pumped for all the new changes in the home grown section and can't wait to see what everyone brings to the table. Can't wait to see what you've been creating brotha!
