The fact that there hasn't been any MK9/MKX Reptile or Ermac treatment is quite baffling. I know it's been put on hold for now, but why was Tremor considered before either of these two? Especially MK9 Ermac, last I remember that was one of the most popular designs for him on one of the most popular characters. Just seems logical from just about every perspective to go forward with it.

I'm not sure if Netherealms would want to release statues from an older game besides the Klassic line.

It comes down to Jerry's preferences, I believe. I know he likes Tremor, and likewise, he probably isn't as big a fan of Reptile, and Ermac.
Under new management, maybe the character selection changes. I think Redant calls the shots now, at least primarily?

Kitanas MK9 design was used for the 1/3 statue, that opened the flood gates imo lol.
Theres plenty of MK9 designs/characters i want who aren't in MKX.
Noob, Smoke, Shang Tsung, Cyrax/Sektor, Rain, Kabal....

I'd rather MK1 or MK3 Sonya. The realism in those designs and 1/3 would go well IMO.
