Fabric is the way to go... its easier to match it with other statues and adjust to fit depending on where you are putting it... plus its unique to your own pose and capes are fabric-ish in the comics so why not keep it fabric?

I dusty fabric cape will be harder to clean than a sculpted one...

Depends on who's making it, what's the character and what's the art direction... in the case of Blitzway statues then yea, all fabric since they know how to do it well...

If you like creases and wrinkles from how they packaged up the fabric capes then go for it.... Not to mention the hours it takes to try and pose a cape halfway decent... it's a lot harder then it looks...

I personally prefer sculpted..
