Same boat here. Although I love the look of this variant, I can't get it unless I sell the original first.

I only buy statues of characters I know and love. Just me, I understand that other folks do it differently. Did make a Sinful Suzie exception when I saw her at a con. But I've picked up Lady Death comics and were never crazy about them or her.

I gotta say, the base on this is outstanding. Moore Studios sure doesn't skimp or cut corners on their bases.

I buy everything Clayburn Moore does. Except for the Bronze statues because they're too costly for me. Regardless of who the characters are, I will still buy it. Then when I buy a character I don't know, I will do research on it and find out more buy buying the comics they're from.

This is exactly how I got into the "Darkness", "Kabuki" and "Witchblade". I bought the statues from CS Moore first and then I got into the comics. Big fan now of all three comics.

See, I'm the other way around. Kull, Conan, Witchblade, all my BD statues, my SS and ReelArt stuff...I read the novels or collected the comics for years first. The statues are more of a physical representation of my pre-existing passion. When I purchased my very 1st statue, which was a Moore, I couldn't believe that I could finally hold, stare at, and own a 3-D piece of character art that I loved. I still feel this way, that's why I collect them.

Alot of times where it's suppose to be numbered, it would say AP/edition size (ex: A/P of 500). Sometimes it will say it on the box too.
