Never read the story. At least now I understand why he draws them that way.

If you don't like what I post you can block me at any time bro. I'm not trying to piss people off. Anyone that gets upset by me saying I hate Alex Ross has thin skin and needs to man up.

It's one thing to hate Alex Ross, but at least do a bit of research and understand the context of why the Kingdom Come characters look the way they do. The story is fantastic and well worth checking out.
For the record, I get how some people can dislike Alex Ross's style. My wife hates it--especially in regard to how manly he portrays female characters. I generally love his art, but even I don't like the weird psychedelic color choices he's been using for prints the last few years.

I haven't collected comics in years so I wouldn't be familiar with the story and I'm more of a Marvel guy. Not really a DC guy. I just like obviously Batman & Superman and a few others. Never a fan of Ross's artwork so I never researched why the characters look like that. I had no clue it came from a story from the comics. I just thought he drew them that way.

This Elseworlds story is a deconstructionist tale set in a future that deals with a growing conflict between the visibly out-of-touch "traditional" superheroes, and a growing population of largely amoral and dangerously irresponsible new vigilantes, in many cases the offspring of the traditional heroes. Between these two groups is Batman and his assembled team, who attempt to contain the escalating disaster, foil the machinations of Lex Luthor, and prevent a world-ending superhuman war.

I'd put it up with all time classics, for me best thing Waid or Ross ever did.

are you really down for all 7 members in 1/3 scale? price aside (~ $8000 +/-) thats a lot of real estate. would you consider kingdom come definitive enough versions for you for that? genuine question as i know a lot of people feel that way as they love the story
also unless they drop all these characters at once like they did with the movie line i have a feeling its going to be quite the wait
