Yeah, I'll probably hold out as well. I think the only reason I'm debating it is because this along with GOTG are my two favorite films I've seen this year.

Two of my favorites as well. That said I have a stack of recent BD purchases to keep me busy for a while. Sooo many times I buy something thinking I "need it now" and then I don't watch it for months after that and had I waited I'd have saved. It all adds up.

It's on sale for $17.99 for the reg. and $19.99 for the 2 disc.
I'm debating about picking it up or just waiting a little longer for it to drop another couple of bucks.

I need to get around to watching these at some point.

Totally. I rarely buy anything on release for the very same reason. I always know that I never "need it now" but many times it's more a case of "I want it now". Not to mention my price cap on new releases has dropped even lower, I basically wait until I can get a new release for $15 or less. For catalog titles I will not pay more than $9, which is usually not a problem these days because if you wait a bit you can get catlaog titles for $5-$7.

Well worth your time. Both are solid films IMO, surprisingly one of my favorite franchises at the moment. I'm a fan of the original series, but I say surprisingly because who would have thought that a rebooted POTA would have turned out so well.

I belong to the Disney Movie Club and I actually got the 2 Disc version for $15 with some discounts I was able to use. Otherwise I'd have gotten the 1 disc version that is on sale at the moment. But if not for that, yes I would have waited a bit.

While we're on the subject of POTA...
Amazon has the Planet of the Apes Legacy collection for $19.99
That's a great price which breaks it down to $4 a film for the original five films in one set.

That is a great deal. Picked it up for $25 IIRC a few years back.
