Likewise, since there's no mention of it in the product description.

Anyone think the T rex looked like it might be made out of plastic... The way he was holding it then laid it on it's side... I would not do that with polystone.....

Based on other statues made of the same material This will start a crap storm if it is.

For the price tag of $500, Id highly doubt its plastic. Paul can you please chime in? It does look a bit light weight, like a bath toy. I don't like that.

I might be wrong, but the T-rex might be ''injection molded'', a technique Chronicle has used to make other products, so even though an item might look heavy, it's actually quite light.

I don't care what it is made out of. It starts drooping over time, I'm gonna be pissed.

Plastic has its place... Not on a $500+, smallish, statue.

I use these pre-production samples as tools, I could care less if they get scratched or broken. Maybe the fact that I'm 6'4" 250 pounds and work out I can make five pounds look like ounces. Cast in urethane resin, not that cheap filled resin.

Moving forward I'm having our operations manager answer questions from time to time, mostly the info found on FB and the newsletter.

Facebook will be the main source of information moving forward, I suggest you sign in and follow us to stay up to date.
