3. Igor specifically said those new turtles are about 1/5ish. He didn't say it will be 1/6 or smaller.
How can you tell the correct scale based on dimensions? Please see my previous post.

If the measurements don't add up that's one thing. I'll be getting mine tomorrow so I'll be able to join the discussion with a little more input. However. We do have videos and pictures of them from SDCC, an unboxing video, and dimensions. We knew they were out of scale and around 1/5. I'm not saying that 14 inches can tell you the scale because there's so much to take into consideration with poses and what not, but it does give you an idea of the size.

Ummm, yea...

Also, if it is only measuring 12 inches, I wonder if they came out smaller than what was shown at SDCC?

The size and the scale are two different things. I have a 1/4 Daredevil and a 1/4 Spider-Man right next to each other and Spider-Man is about 8 inches taller. I have a 1/4 Ant-Man next to both and it's taller than Daredevil but shorter than Spider-Man. Height is height. If something is 14x10x13, that's the size regardless of what scale it is. Scale isn't the issue here, it's size.
