The unmasked portrait is a bit.....substantial lol. I think it looks cool though. But then again I just love switch outs.

But yeah it is a bit bigger but I think part of it is that there is a lot of hair on that head. One thing I like about his one vs the SS unmasked though is I recall on the SS portrait, it kind of looked like his hair had a really light bits of blue shade in it where as this one the brown hair is done really well. Also the unmasked portrait has some good weight to it.

Not that it's a 1:1 comparison or whatever, but here's the Brown Wolverine vs the XM Captain America.

My first Wolverine is here and what can I say .... I'm blown away.
This is an amazing statue.
I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps off the roof. He looks so alive.

Assembly is very easy and everything fits. Ok, the blades go very hard into the openings provided in the hand. I really need some force to push it in completely, but i don't.
That leaves a small, imperceptible gap of about 0.5 mm. The blades don't feel cheap and look like polished metal.

The statue is large and the upper body is really massive.
I'm really glad that XM made Wolverine so big and didn't take the original scale from the small comic book Wolverine.

There are already a lot of pictures of the statue. I'll just show you a few details here because I love details.

There would be the fish that alone makes a great statue. I'll take it away from the base and put it separately.

The statue is absolutely perfect. Take a look at the details

Or here, zipper on the boot. And the sole of the boot

Then there is a beautiful helmet that you can put on the base

The sword is heavy and i think it is from the same material as that of Samurai Batman.
Simply great.

I didn't like the mask portrait on product pictures, but I find it magnificent on the statue.

I'm totally thrilled again and really happy to have XM Wolverine in my collection.

It's definitely a great, great statue. One of my favorites I've ever had.

Extremely well said, I couldn't have done better.

I absolutely love this statue. Like you said the amount of details is mind blowing. It looks like he's alive!

The size isn't even noticeable. It's by far the best 1/4 scale licensed Wolverine ever made. BY FAR.

Very nice. Looks like Wolvie and Bats are hanging out in the same neighborhood.
