Great thread idea!

Without asking any clarifying questions I would have to say Sal Buscema without hesitation. He is my all time favorite artist and I cannot have enough of his art.

Now, if we were talking about an artist still very active in the biz and one whom I can buy new pages as they come out and get commissions from, that would be Ed McGuinness or Dale Keown so I guess they are my honorable mentions. Ed is a heavyweight in the art scene today and is my favorite artist that is cranking out art at a good pace. Technically, Dale is still in the biz and puts out some art but his work is very sporadic and infrequent. Carlo Pagulayan is up there as well. This is a tough question!

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Since this is an entire hopes and dream thread --

Jay Anacleto

Honorable Mention:

Jim Lee (gotta go with the man who made me love comics for pictures alone!)

And yea, Ry, where is this bro-in-law work?! You holding out on us?

If we are talking about currently active it's J. Scott Campbell for me.

Spidey and his universe for me.
