The Haul!! Oz Comic-Con Melbourne 2014

Had a great weekend

I'll start with the art and then move on to some other stuff...

First up is a pre con commission I had organised with Matthew Clark. Return of Superman era Superman.

Matthew Clark's Mass Effect print, along with original artwork for Thane and Mordin that went into making the print and the pencil prelim for Thane.

Matthew Clark chose to add Nightwing to my Batman Jam.

Colin Wilson Blueberry and Rogue Trooper pieces to go with the two Judge Dredd pieces I already have.

Colin signed one of his Future Shocks from the first 2000AD comic I ever owned as a kid. (33 years later)

Tristan Jones Real Ghostbusters print.

Genuine prop leaf from the original Bag End tree from LOTR.

To complete my SG-1 collection I finally got my pic with Richard Dean Anderson.

Overall it was a great con for me and it was good to catch up with Rod, Ken, Terence, Alex, Luke and Scott before I leave Australia in a few weeks.

Top work mate! All the best for the big move

I'm astounded by the level of detail Colin is putting into his commissions recently, every last one is phenomenal.

The art is great, but it's your leaf that got me thinking. I never thought about the trees in LOTR needing to be "made". Bananas amount of work somebody put in that never crossed my mind!

No joke! Each leaf hand painted and placed? That's ridiculous! Makes for a very cool collectible though.
