As for Xbox one, well I hope MS gets the message quickly and changes their mind about their BS policies because there are games I'm sure I would love to play on Xbox.

Do you think that they will go back to the drawing board and change their policies before the XBone is released?

I can't see it happening, I think they have too much invested in their model and wouldn't want to admit to a mistake after SONY's show.

I hope MS change their plan on the Xbone. I really enjoy the Gears of War series and would like to continue playing it. GOW is my only reason for owning a 360.

A lot of new updates. The following updates have been made to the first post:
- PS4 will include a 500GB Hard Drive. Other models a possibility.
- PS4 is region free.
- PS4 Hard drive is removable, upgradable.
- PS4 Used game restriction 'up to publishers'.
Links and quotes available in first post.

There is still a difference on how Microsoft is handling it. The constant online connection and essentially paying for licenses is a lot different than a third party publisher attempting to use online passes. I don't think these two policies are the same at all, they have just been worded similarly.

oh like I said Microsoft screwed up just about everything they could screw up, but on this one issue they seem to have the same awful stance.

Just so we're clear, what stance are you referring to? That they're leaving it up to third party publishers to decide on how to handle DRM? If so, then yes, they're the same (although, it seems DRM on the PS4 will be much the same as it's been on the current generation).
If you're referring to how DRM will be implemented on both consoles, then no, they're not the same.
