BATMAN vs. IRON MAN (not a poll...a discussion)

Okay guys...here is the scenario....

Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark have battled in the board room....both have learned each others secret identity...and an confrontation between the Iron Avenger and the Dark Knight in bound to happen.

Both individuals have time to prepare for one another.

In the past Batman has walked away from battles with Superman, the Hulk, and Captain America.

Iron Man has survived battles with Dr. Doom, Magneto, and Thanos.

The futurist vs. the detective....

not simply a "who takes it" poll......let's see some reasoning. Make us all beleievers in your point of view. Post pics if you have them! No Marvel Zombies or strictly Bat-Fans allowed! Think before you pose! Have an opinion and bring it!

2. Batman has certainly successfully fought a host of opponents who outpower him. I think he can handle the range of capabilities that Iron Man can throw at him. While both are masters of the art of planning and preparation, I feel that Batman has a better record of success. I mean, have any of the Hulkbuster or Thorbuster armors actually beaten the Hulk or Thor?

With time to prepare I dont see anyone more resourceful (or creative with how to drop someone) than Batman. I'm thinking Bruce would give Iron Man a ton of credit before the fight, and therefore assume that Tony has countermeasures for EMP, magnetics, virus, anti-metal attacks, etc. Batman would prepare something that Tony couldnt prepare for and he would lose. NOW, the question becomes, can Iron Man do something to drop the Batman in a hurry...something sonic, or destroying the Bat's equilibrium...but I feel like Batman has countermeasures for all of these attacks...he's faced similar attacks before.

I'm thinking that even with preparation, Tony's arrogance would lead him to believe that he's just facing a man, and not be really creative about how to drop the Bat. This would also add to his undoing.

Batman wins.

Good thread Ryche.

I like to give it to Ironman, but I think most people will give this one to Batman. Well with Time and prep blah blah blah....

I don't really like these two characters. Emp weapons will do absolutely nada on the suit But I think in the "end" Bruce will change his voice with a device and some how figure out what the password is for the Ironman costume and disable it.

I dont really see Ironman dropping a Jericho bomb on the Bat cave

Here is a question for ya, Could Bruce survive a derict hit from a unibeam or repulser blast?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Captain America couldnt beat Iron man during civil war without help from the vision, i see no reason why Batman should be able to.

Its easy to say but Batman has beaten Superman, Aunt May could beat sups if she had Kryponite.
