b) Traditional Geisha portrait with mask without umbrella. It also looks too busy with the fan so I would not display it that way either.
c) Slick cut portrait without the mask and without umbrella
d) Slick cut portrait with the mask and umbrella
e) Slick cut portrait - only umbrella
Odd, so you mean the umbrella physically doesn't fit when the geisha head is attached?

Also, do you have a pic of the art print? And the little vines that go around her décolletage/waist/legs, are they permanently attached? Or separate pieces?

WOW, that's without a doubt the most gorgeous print they've ever done.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure I got all those Japanese terms right. It also goes to show how much attention to detail was put into this piece.

Thank you for the review!

I have pre-ordered Poison Ivy, after hearing that it has 25 pieces, how likely will something break during transit from store/warehouse to final destination. What do you think about the styrofoam with the pieces where in?

Her umbrella and fan are looking very fragile, could the paper be a issue after a few years. I'm afraid the would eventually just fall apart (nothing stays forever, but I would want it to last for a long time). I don't want to give he a paper cocktail umbrella if it deteriorate to a point of no repair.

Are the vines made of vinyl, just wondering.

I will do my best to answer all your Qs!

1) The packaging is incredible. Mine arrived with no issues whatsoever. I would feel extremely confident with the packaging.

2) You are correct in that there are some fragile parts to it, i.e., the umbrella, the vines, hairpins, the fan. However, they seem sturdy enough to pass the test of time (hopefully!). All this to say that when you are looking at the piece, you really get drawn into the design.

I don't like at all the mouth of the geisha portrait, but the smiling one is top top top.
A very nice and green statue... And a very nice print indeed...
