From the sister

I've been buying arts from Adi Granov and Tamsin asked me to look at Adi's sister work. She recommended me to get a commission from her and looking at her works, I was inclined to agree. So I took one.

I had a concept where Black Cat is depicted as a "bad kitty" stealing jewelries and Spider-man is about to stop her. Her, being a bad kitty, knows that Spider-man is there and decides to let him watch because she is confident that she can outrun/outsmart him.

Dijana executed that idea beautifully.

I didn't even ask for the mirror but she was just being a creative genius.

I love it.

This one is done in gouache and markers on 11 x 17.

I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking colored commissions because her work is just so beautiful in person.
And she is very professional throughout the process.
I had a different idea before and she showed me the WIP. She was halfway done. I told her I liked it but was thinking of some changes. She said she was not in love with it too and was unhappy with what she had so far. So she started over, a new one. I think not many would do that considering the time and effort she had put into the first one. And I really appreciate it because the result now is a home-run to me.

I guess it runs in the family.

You're not happy with yours? Did you talk to her about it?

no, i havent. honestly, im not sure what i would say, nor do i know how to phrase that nicely. like i said, the prelim pic was stellar and i was super excited. unfortunately, the finished was way off. do you think its too late to do anything about it?

edit: i started a thread awhile back, but, i can post pics so you can see what i mean. it was a big investment, which im sure you know.

I'm not sure if it's too late or not. But she seems professional and I'm pretty sure she could handle criticism quite well. I would just tell her how you feel about the piece, wait for her response and go from there.

I'm really sorry you're not happy with your commission and yes it's pricey, that's why I recommend you talk to her. Hope everything works out allright.
