PCS MKX Subzero statue !

As a big fan of Sub-Zero... I have to be honest... I prefer how the MK9 statue looks over this one... But who knows, maybe the EX pose will change my mind !

To be fair, I never liked the default MKX costume for Sub-Zero... Something is off about it so maybe that's why I am not feeling this statue yet ...

In MKX, Sub-Zero uses one hand to throw the ice ball but he uses two hands to throw the enhanced one... So basically, this statue is based on the enhanced ice ball .

SZ being my fav character of all time, i must say this pose is a bit of a let down.
Hardly any energy in it.

Base is overdone.

If i were to suggest anything, it would probably be to go back to the drawing board.

Art and paint is spot on as always but initial emotion is lacking so far.

Gatta agree here.

There's something about this that's just not doing it for me. The pose looks recycled from MK9 sub, even the base. Not really crazy about that iceball ether, I get a craving for spaghetti and meatballs when I stare at it for a while.

But mainly, the pose is what I think is making my eye twitch. Perhaps it's the camera angle, but the neck seems to be elongated as well, adding to the awkwardness.

I know the likelihood of this happening is slim, but I would LOVE an alternate unmasked portrait.

i was literally thinking the same stuff. I feel like its a MK9 sub zero with a less interesting costume, a larger base that wont fit anywhere and more lean in his pose. It will have light up features though i wish the MK9 had that, but i think im going to pair MK9 sub and MKX scorpion I like how those look. I am in love with the MKX sub zero bust though Im trying to work out the means to buy one!!!

Oh I did that before I made the post. He turns way more and is more hunched in that.

Either way the one handed ice is a signature of MKX.

This looks great but I am disappointed.
