It's SO beautiful! How long does it usually take xm to paint up their sculpts after reveal? Do you think Magneto and Phoenix will be done in a month? 2? 3?

I was given some info we might see a painted version at an Italy comic con coming up in early November.

I think once this is painted people will be scrambling to buy this. White Magneto might not be the most popular but this sculpt is really well done.

While this statue is great and all. The only ugly thing is the way the missile is held up by one of the metal parts attached to one of the two metal bar at the back of Magneto.

IMO collectors are forced to display it at an angle to conceal it. Wonder if XM staff can think of another way to address this issue.

You literally can't see it at all from the front. When I saw it I thought it was ingenious actually. Honestly, this isn't really a statue that you display from a side angle. It's made to be seen from the front so there's no better place for the support beam

It may be a different story when it is painted, but at the show, I really thought the hovering missile effect was well done. Bryan mentioned to me they may move the missile a bit further back from the hand, but that's not confirmed.
