Terminate one Sentinel -- terminate one thousand -- it makes no difference. Our numbers are too great. Eventually mutants, we will overwhelm you.
- Sentinels
Hi guys,
I have picked up the X-Men vs Sentinel #2 diorama and am very happy with it.
This is a beast of a diorama and the design and presence of this piece make this a real eye-catcher.
Originally I pre-ordered this diorama because Juggernaut was part of it but now that I have the diorama displayed at home, I have to say that Juggernaut
is not the only one who excels. The heavily battle damaged Sentinel, Magneto, Gambit and Juggernaut all look superb and combined they make for a
impressive display which could have been taken straight out of a comic book.
This diorama is delivers in spades in many ways and the size, weight, design and presence will undoubtedly surprise you when you see this statue in real life.
If I am not mistaken the original intention of Iron Studios was to depict a battle between the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants using Sentinels
to hit the X-Men harder than they have ever been hit before.
In my imagination however this diorama shows a battle in which 'good' and 'bad' mutants, and even non-mutants, have combined forces to stop
the enormous threat the Sentinels represent for life as we know it.
When all seems lost and the end is near, left and right, good and bad, heroes and villains have combined forces to take a last stand against the Sentinels.
After all, the Sentinels pose as much as a threat for Pyro or Blob as they do for Wolverine or Cyclops.
I am truly happy to have this diorama in my collection and have taken some pictures earlier this afternoon to show you what I am talking abouty.
Unfortunately the weather outside was grey and rainy so there was not much natural light to work with.
I will do my best to take more pictures if you would like to when it's sunnier outside.
Have fun and enjoy guys, I can tell that Superman was already wondering what was in the box when I opened the first big box....
