Anyone know where i can find the GANTZ manga???

I saw the anime series awhile back .. thought it was pretty good

I heard the manga is a lot better & would like to pick it up

Manga is usually a lot better when the anime is based on it.

Try Barns & Nobels or Boarder Bookstore, or look for those LCSs that carry mangas and stuff.

If by better you mean bloodier squishier and nudier you are right. I dont think it is out yet in US and hasnt been officially translated. I think DarkHorse bought it?
Any way I got it from a torrent at least a year ago, so if you really want it, steal it?

There is a panda later, it's neat!

Just looked up Dark Horse ... it seems like they bought the rights & should be releasing it here in the sates in 2008

Guess I'll have to wait till then ... I hope they keep it as close to the original as possible

BTW, anyone else seen the end to the Gantz anime...
the ending was sooo disappointing

does anyone knows what it meant???

Gantz anime was just aweful!! Save yourself the disappointment and stick with the manga which is 10x better. I am uptodate with the manga and am on chapter 257 and the new Osaka arc. All I can say is, don't wait for the Darkhorse release. Who knows when they will release it. Just download the online scantlations which are pretty decent. The manga will just blow yourmind. I did hear that the anime is nothing compared to manga.... I mean i did enjoy the anime until the end... the ending just left me scratching my head ....
but the ride was enjoyable to that point & that's why i want to check out the manga which i'm constantly hearing is much better

I think the Anime adapted the Manga well, only bad thing about the anime is that last anime only arc. but yeah it's all about the Manga. GANTZ is one of the best seinen manga next to Berserk!

I had to look up the stuff on Wikipedia, so depressing. I felt like there should be something more but after reading about it I understand the message but that doesn't really help me understand what happens to the characters at the end.

Is the Manga any clearer?
