Ebay to go after Bad Sellers in 2008
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22221089/
I'm especially glad they are going after the idiots who like to have penny or dollar auctions and then charge $20 for shipping. It's a misleading practice that has gone on too long.

They need to go after non-paying bidders while they're at it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

You bet. I've hated those people who try to dupe people with the low initial starting bids and then throw that fricken shipping charge that is 5 to 20 times to high.

This will help for sure. But it will still be an issue. I can't tell you how many times I've paid $10 for shipping a comic book (seems high, but so long as its protected, I'm willing to pay it for a pricey book...), and then received an envelope with one backing board in it for support--and shipping it cost all of $1.40. Not only are they ripping me off, but they're putting the comic I'm buying in jeopardy.

I'm willing to pay the shippimg as long as I get the item in one piece. That's what feedback is for people!

It's not about that Coco. It's those sellers trying to mislead a buyer by having an item at 1 cent and then charge 20 dollars for shipping. They are hoping the buyer doesn't see the shipping and therefore mislead them.
