Looks good. I like the Ex head but aside from liking the sculpt of it for me it’s context. She’s in battle, she should have her helmet on. I find lately I’m preferring characters with their helmets and masks on as opposed to exposed heads and faces.

Looks good though.

I've been selling off most of my collection and even with taking losses on a lot of them I looked at my Paypal account and I've gotten almost $16,000 from the sales and I still have more to sell... It's crazy (and a little scary) how fast this hobby sucks up your money.

Sideshow is on a roll!

Beautiful statue. I wish their marvel statues were as good as these...

I agree. EX seems out of place with the pose. The regular head sculpt looks more fitting. I’ve noticed that most of the SS statues I own are the EX versions but I prefer them displayed as the regular.

I agree the ex looks much to calm for that pose. It looks odd.

I really don't care for the reg at all. It's a shame as other than the head sculpts I really like this statue.

Maybe a nice custom helmeted head will change my mind on her.

Good looking EX portrait let down slightly by the hairline.
None too bothered, as this character isn't on my wants list.
The question is: Who does she resemble?
I see Annie Lennox. I'm sure someone can top that

Nearly every purchase one makes has a value judgment attached. I could do a fun vacation for $2000 (flight/lodging/etc.) and I can buy this statue for $630+. If I was at the point of sacrificing either I'd likely do neither and audit my finances and spending habits.

These statue bring me joy, and for me after my responsibilities have been covered that is what my extra money is for.

Back on topic, still thrilled that Sideshow is making this Hawkgirl. Gives me hope more DC heroine pieces are coming have not seen before. Perhaps a Mera, or Raven, or Jessica Cruz, or even a Big Barda.

The EX portrait still has a determined look on her face, I think it works with the pose. The only issue I see with the EX portrait is the intial flow of her hair on the side of her temples, the hair just doesn't flow right but the rest of her hair looks great. For me it's not a deal breaker. I'm just worried about the portrait face paint, if the factory can come close to it, factories usualy end up making the makup look very bland.
