Great news that they are making a few more of these.
Managed to get one from Japan and am waiting for it to arrive.
Hopefully it's here by the end of the week as well.

I had one added to my shopping cart and waited to talk it over with funds with my wife. Was ready to buy and of course, it sold out. Dammit!
Anyone know if they'll keep busting these out?

Same here and I am pissed. Now, I'm gonna have to order from Japan. What can I say? It happens.
There is a small possibility that some retailers get to sell some here in the states. But which and when is a matter of speculation. It may or may not happen.

I used to own this Superman to go along with Batman (which I also owned), but eventually sold them once I felt the power of polystone for the first time, haha! Nonetheless, they were some really sweet looking vinyl pieces. I miss 'em both a little.

Just got my Superman today. Looks very nice. I don't know why Koto use a picture on the box that Superman pose with his left foot on top of this silver eagle gargoyle....the one that DC Direct did of that statue.

Do you think this was old stock or reproduction?

According to Kotobukiya themselves via Facebook it was a reproduction.

The statue arrived yesterday.
Everything looked great and the packing was not damaged. Got it from Japan. Upon unboxing the figure I found out that the glue that was holding the torso and the legs together has either withered or was somehow damaged in transit because it did not hold well. The weight of the cape was pulling the statue backwards and a big hole was gaping where the torso and legs should be attached. Managed to dismantle it and added superglue. The issue is fixed for now. Hopefully it will stay that way.
It`s an awesome figure to own.
