If that's the case, then I'll probably wait until they sell it on dvd or view 'em on Amazon.

I'm not thrilled about this aspect, if good I have no trouble myself doing what I have to do to watch but I think if it's good Trek, I want it to find everyone possible to be able to watch it. When I was a kid it was of course free it was in syndication and it reached everyone with the Trek fun and message after school in our mixed income hood, later TNG and the other shows. It even inspired some people to do great things with their lives. So paying to see it kind of irks me, economics of some will mean some kids will have no chance to see it.

I would most definitely prefer if it was on network or cable TV versus a pay streaming site, but this is the way of things in this day and age. I wouldn't worry about people being able to see it, it will be made available in different formats over time I'm sure. People may not be able to see it right away if they don't want to pay for it, but they'll be able to see it eventually. I see Walking Dead re-runs being aired on one of our local channels here in L.A., I have no doubt the same will be true for this series at some point.

The ship has a good name. And I hope sets the tone of the series.
