To name a few. These pieces are already some of the best statues made in design and paint and highly sought after by collectors . The paint apps are amazing not to say that regular production vs exclusive pieces is not as good , the exclusives def give you something more special in terms of how they look. You will understand once in hand .

all the statues you listed definitely all have a lot going on with them, bigger bases, another companion piece, a bike etc
and gambits got some cards with special effects, lol

I know. But it's weird to have some X-Men outshine others with superior paint apps and stuff. I originally thought EX meant only available through the XM store.

The paint and quality are no different than any other XM piece. Exclusive only means it's supposedly limited as to where you can buy it. Though with middle man shops like Spec Fiction now in play all it really means is that you're gonna pay more for it.

I would say that Gambit is no more “intricate” or “complex in design” than Storm or original Phoenix. Storm especially. Neither of those are “EX” statues.

EX does imply a massive statue that costs XM more to make so they want to keep the numbers to a smaller, niche market. Or a certain sell out character - examples being, but not limited to, Gambit and Dark Phoenix. You can bet that if XM was running “EX” statues from day one that Magneto would have been an EX. I wouldn’t be surprised if EX basic characters were labeled as such due to competition and release dates, but I’m not sure.


I’m sure that whenever XM makes a Rogue, she will be an EX too.

Agreed. All the ex’s I’ve seen are amazing . The paint apps on my Hulkbuster convention exclusive is best I’ve ever seen on any piece.

I just realized that most likely I'm going to want all XM Xmen pieces, They just look amazing. And each piece on average will cost about $1000 since I'm in the US, and there's about 15 Xmen, and 8 X-Villains that i'm gonna want for sure, so that's about $23,000. Holy S#$%^!
