That's not bad considering some of the production samples I've seen had scratches, fractures and breaks.
I guess this is a #1, also.

I have kent meltons personal copies that were the paint masters to how he painted the rest so I guess you would call those #1 of the 1989 Keaton batman and Joker from WBSS,A few other one of a kinds and paint masters, #999 of the FAO schwartz Batman comic statue. I usually try and go for #27 or #39 if I can find them for Batman pieces

Sweet info guys, pitty we can't get a fully fedged forum happenning here, no one seams that interested, I know some said they dont care what numbers are underneath, just what's up top that counts, they just don't have any numbers worth bragging about, this thread was meant for braggers, so.......brag, comon.

I do not have #1's but I have these "first 10" ones.
- Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer 4 Faux Bronze # 10 of 100 (signed edition).
- Paquets Marv Faux Bronze Dynamic Forces Limited Edition Variant # 99 of 99. nice even if not #1.
- Betty Boop - Blurple Dress - Sideshow Exclusive # 6 of 50.
- Bev Gilroy Catwoman # 6 of 12.
- Saint Emett Daemonia # 4 of 160.
- Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer miniature statue, Hand painted # 3 of 50.
- Tiki Little Asia Artis Proof Edition with Purple Dress # 4 of 50.
So no number 1s unfortunately :-)

Agreed:
Okay, so here's a question that I've always wondered:
Is there a benefit to having low numbers (other than just bragging rights)?
Is the quality sometimes better since it's fresher from the mold?
If you had #1 sitting next to #1,000, would there be any discernible difference?

With Bowen, the statues are produced and then numbered later. The statue that is numbered #1 may actually be the 596th statue produced. So in the case of Bowens numbering makes no difference in the quality. Don't know how other companies do it...

Thanks!
Honestly, I'm really not a numbers guy. I couldn't care less if I got a low #. Since, I've seen pieces numbered in the thousands have a better paint app/finish than a piece that's #11.
But, I DO like to own rare pieces that you don't see in everyones collection.

Zombie just wishes he could get number 11 of everything. he has a thing about the number 11.
hell, 1111 would be even better, or 1234.
