I feel sorry if the seam issue is a deal breaker and ruined enthusiasm for some, that would be a real bummer. I think the key in discourse is to not take praise or criticism of a statue and transfer it to character judgment of the collector.

My seam is next to impossible to see.

It helps having the glare of the glass to cover it up some
but does seem less noticeable then the other picture...

Looking within 4-5” of the statue I could not see a seam. Taking the picture is what created the glare.

Lulz. Goes to the point I was trying to make that the post showing the seam had a defect. No way that gap is intentional.

I look forward to seeing more in-hand photos.
Hopefully from many different angles.

Might be a one-off defect. Might not be. Doesn't really matter. Shared the pic with the group as a heads up (sorry about that). Either way it's boxed up & going back for a full refund. Not interested in a replacement.
The only thing I'll say is that there were >probably< better design options than the one they settled on.
BTW I've owned a few albums that recommended specific volume levels for playback, but I've never owned a statue that recommended specific display guidelines.

Why would they? It’s common sense, you display the statue in a way that makes it look best, not worse.

I hope everyone's statue turns out better than mine did. Best of luck to the group!

Yikes. Awful. That is just unfortunate.
I’ve got Supes, WW, Batman, MM, and Starfire on order. Between how the Superman and this have come out, I’m tempted to bail out.
