If you go to Jim Lee Instagram it’s same guy that keeps winning most of these . So he’s choosing all the diff Batman’s I bet to get ultimate collection for himself . Crazy strategy but if he’s paying what can you do .

so the person who buys the previous one gets to pick who the next one is?

Correct, Mr Yac. I think one man - has won all the Batman pieces and he requested some of the ones he won.
I think the Deadman piece is the best of the bunch so far. Doesn’t beat out Big Barda as my favorite- it’s just the most outstanding so far.

I think it is great that we are seeing Jim draw some characters he normally does not. I can agree about Deadman. It is a standout and a little reminiscent of the cover of Strange Adventure #207.

More than a little. I’d call it an homage.

Yeah I agree on that and they will put them at much reduced rates as well. And yeah I find it funny as well that a guy should keep requesting Batmans... well, its his money to spend.

I think it’s great that this guy is continually bidding and winning and paying a lot of money for these since it’s going to charity but part of me thinks if he has all this money why doesn’t he just commission Jim to do these drawings.
I saw the newest one was the Grim Knight. Now when did that version of Batman appear?

I'm amending this since Dhaval didn't win the Barda, per Instagram. I *think* he won Batman who Laughs at $10,800, but I can't quite be certain. He also won another auction per Jim's latest post, which I *think* was Arkham Knight Batman Beyond. Jim didn't definitely specify in his posts, so I'm trying to put it together. So then it would look like:
Nightwing - $6,501
Doctor Fate - $7,801
Batman who Laughs - $10,800
Arkham Knight Batman Beyond - $11,600
Grand Total - $36,702

If one guy/girl is winning multiple pieces, then congrats! It would be nice if he mixed up the characters every once in a while though.
Also, it would be fun if another wealthy individual entered the fray and a true bidding war broke out.
