Woah! It sold for quite a bit more than retail. Gosh, I'm glad I told my friend not to listen to the "experts" here who said you could get it for cheap a couple months later.

Don't get too excited... there was an auction that ended on Ebay last week for one at 800 that wasn't sold and had zero bids... I'm no expert, but I do like my research.

Yes the ARH Medusa market value has accrued to around 1000$. This was expected as the demand for this piece far surpassed the supply...
I'll never sell mine though..I'm a Greek Mythology nut and she's one of the centerpieces of my collection

Medusa should be a grail. She's the only ARH piece I personally think is phenomenal!!! She looks absolutely amazing, and even being a more beastly looking female, she's still more feminine looking than Cleomantra or Valguyrie.

Knowing your taste I also think you'd love the magnificent Athena Goddess of War and Wisdom. The photos simply cannot convey how mind bogglingly beautiful this piece is in person. ARH outdid themselves with this piece as she was one of the most important and beloved Goddesses of the ancient world. This is another piece that I would never sell.
I highly recommend it but unfortunately, she's sold out and extremely hard to find right now.
