Sure it does. It reveals the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse aren't simply background fixtures but instead play a role in the next film.

As long as one of the Horsemen is Archangel, and we get to see some kind of Angel to Archangel story arc it sounds off to a promising start. Will look for signs of the return of a recast Scott, Jean, Storm; new costume designs (for crying out loud), and the addition of more cool characters.

dont have faith in Singer at all. he will more than likely screw up Apoc's design.
