I think worse case scenario ill get this and customize it with no tendrils, this really is the definition of impressive
I think this will look pretty sexy next to the new carnage pf...

As much as some don't like the mini-symbiote heads, I think it's the tendrils (and the base) which give this a clear advantage over the XM in terms of presence. It's the portraits that make it a toss-up, IMO.

This Venom is awesome. I'm worried about the tendrils being that fragile though. Hope it can be like rubbery with a metal cores (if that's feasible)...

This is a blurry pic, but I just love this angle. Personally, I think this blows away the XM piece.

The tendrils and mini-symbiotes for both XM and Prime 1, are strong selling points for me. I love them. It seems like those aspects reveal who played/liked Marvel vs Capcom... 
I like XM's base and pose just slightly more.

I'm so glad I didn't pay secondary market price for XM Venom. Went along with my gut feeling and will be getting this. Thank goodness it's marketed by SS so everyone stands a chance of getting him as long as they get him on time =)
