This is only a minute and a half teaser. OF COURSE they are not going to show you Venom this early and for good reason.

They'll show Venom in second trailer. I like Tom Hardy and the character so I'm giving this trust to redeem what happened in Spider-Man 3.

but even in a teaser they usually show one quick shot at the end.

My fear is they change stuff enough that it isn't Venom anymore and some 'other' version of the character.

Seriously there were parts in it I didn't get. Since when can Venom move crap with his mind? That was what he was doing right?

Change isn't necessarily a bad thing. Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic but the trailer kept things mysterious as it should.

This, to me, is already an improvement from Spider-Man 3's Venom, not only in the casting of Eddie Brock, but also in the gravity and seriousness that he deserves.

Not sure what to make of the telekinetic powers but it caught me by surprise.

If he doesn't have the same powers as Spider-man then it's not really Venom to me. Starting to feel like Tom Hardy's Venom is like Halle Berry's Cat Woman or Ryan Reynolds first Deadpool. I just hope it's a much better movie.

Did he? I didn't see that in the trailer. If he does in the movie I won't like that.

The part where he's on the bike, did he move those cars in the way? And was he the one who knocked all those people over by waving his arm? Or am I not understanding the cut scenes?

I dont see how they can pull this off without having the venom symbiote first be bonded to peter parker
