This sculpt is meant for the marble effect only, it seems. The paint job has highlighted the deficiency in details of the sculpt. The statue may be in 1:4 scale but the sculptural details are more like 1:6 scale or smaller.
It doesn't look too bad painted but it just doesn't look as good as other 1:4 scale coloured statues which we are used to be seeing in recent times.
