Joaquin Phoenix already said this is a one time gig for him... From what I've read the Director wants DC to support more movies like this one, where story is priority and not CGI.. Keep the budgets around $50 million. I think he even mentioned he thought DC Dark would be a great name for the series to separate it from their more kid friendly movies like WW and Aquaman.
