Prime 1 Studio: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - Blue 1:6

Picked up my Prime 1 Blue on Friday. I am blown away by this piece. It is way better than I imagined. The paint app is amazing and very close to the prototype (way better than the Prime 1 Rex). It is also way bigger than I thought. It kind of steals the thunder from my custom painted Breakout Rex (thank you Shane Foulkes!) which is my favorite piece. The box it came in was enormous! This is definitely my grail Velociraptor statue.

I also wanted to mention the materials. It appears that it is a made up of multiple types. The head and body appear to be polystone or polyresin. The arms, lower legs and tail are vinyl which is actually a great thing since they won't break.

So, my wife walks into my man cave and says "OMG, I am living in Jurassic Park".

Thanks. I actually did the 4 oil paintings (Breakout, Brachs, Stego scene and Raptors) and the small profile sketches in the middle are lithos from Crash.

I have included some stage photos of the Brach painting (my personal favorite). Its funny how bad they look in the beginning stages.

SS has had the Indoraptor ( which I received last month from them) along with Blue and Rexy. I wonder if Rex is coming in at the same time too..I tried ordering him from SC just to test their service out, but no word yet.

Blue shipped, looks like they also have the collector's version of Rexy in stock but not the regular release. I ordered that one from SC which still says August for release.

Love the setup... King Kong and Godzilla would work in your setup too I think =)
