Finally got a chance to open and inspect.

Paint application is great as this was done in house as the prototype.

I procured a solid larger easel, flipped the easel holder base for a fully flat surface and then added a layer of thick foam to support the Stargate fossil on its two points. It's quite heavy, I don't fancy wall mounting this beast without some serious wall support. You can see the provided plate on the back for both mounting and indicating the ideal horizontal orientation. Another loose mating plate is provided. I may fasten it to the easel frame to secure the fossil to it, but its weight and angle already keeps it quite secure on the easel.

Next, I need to place it in front of 1:1 Anubis currently located in the atrium.
