Let the hype die down if that keeps the ES low. Keep this low like the old Venom Comiquette. I think the EX was set at 300 for that piece. Even it Sideshow set the ES at 500 I don't think they will have a problem selling through all those pretty fast.

Even the reg of the Comiquette was 1150 & EX was 350 so 1500 ES total. The last 2 PFs and the "statue" were at least 2500 ES. The Spidey Symbiote was 5K and this is a matching piece, same building architecture/ scheme etc.
This ain't the piece for low a ES. Now way I see below 2K. It will help keep the price down as well.
Seems like a simpler piece than Moon Knight but that unmasking head will up it a bit because of more paint apps.
So I'm saying 1500-2K ES, possibly 3-5K, and if we're lucky below $850.

The only way this will have a low ES is if they release a variant. That wouldn't be a bad idea too...I would love to see a Venom in blue instead of the usual black/dark blue.

Yep though I did mean to type No not Now. I am just stating how I see it not casting my lot for what it will be to come back to later to somehow show myself as right. Unless this statue ends up having major hate for the arm seam, if somehow this has any chance below 2K ES it is because of the current eco-political climate, if things were normal yea no way below 2K.
Only thing makes me think it COULD be 3-5K is it being a companion piece to the symbiote Spider-Man.

Sideshow's lower ES lately is a mix of several factors, but a major contributor is Sideshow has not hit both an A+ character with a homerun statue. This Venom looks to be both.
They've done a bunch of niche characters recently with lukewarm statues. Batgirl got 2200 and Wolverine for 1500 but that was 1/3 which many had a problem with.

I'll just say this about this statue. If this is going to have an EX version. I really don't see anyway that the ES for the EX gets over three digit set ES.
