Arrow Edge of Tomorrow (Sequel rumour)

I hope this happens. Really enjoyed the first movie.

A sequel doesn't make sense and will feel like retreading if they try to do the repeating day thing again.

I would rather they do another original Sci-Fi movie, as Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow were great. Now onto something new.

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it deserved a much better showing in theaters. Just not sure how a sequel would come about with the ending. I'd rather Cruise got busy with a few more Jack Reacher movies.

And so... what? Thrown into a bigger time loop? Not crazy about that.

However if it were the same characters facing a completely new threat not involving time loops, that might be interesting. Both characters are highly formidable fighters due to their earlier experience. Cruise was good and I really liked Blunt, so I could be on board for a sequel if the script is good and it doesn't retread, but is rather more the "continuing adventures" route. Cruise probably doesn't have many more action star years left so he's milking them for what they're worth.

One of the best films last year for me. Hoping for a sequel.

really great movie but it was a closed loop story, not sure how they would do a sequel without repeating the same idea/theme.

If it gets us a statue of Emily Blunt as the Angel of Verdun, bring it.

Awesome, if they keep the same cast.
