Nice picture, and very promising words. I'm, actually really tempted to order this now even though I have no star wars items in this scale. I was hoping I'd have had a few Star Wars LSF's at this stage, but this is the only one that has really appealed to me so far.

Well yeah, that also. The prices of LSF's relative to what they have been offering is a big part of the reason I'm so happy to pass on them along with their lack of an ES, and other things.

yeah. I would have considered one or 2 pieces for a stand alone piece IF they would be priced upscaled correctly to the 1/4 PF line.. and not priced 4x more for a 2x bigger statue..

I'm not sure that math would've ever worked.

It used to be that 1/6 scale was $250, 1/4 scale was $500 and 1/3 scale was $900.

At least until you got to life size, the prices usually doubled for those scales. But now with the ever increasing prices for Sideshows 1/4 pieces that simple math is kind of out the window. But the other scales are sure to follow.

Which is why what Prime 1 charged for their 1/2 scales were imo worth it at $2,000 to $2,100 USD. Especially for their quality.

But yeah Sideshows 1/2 scale pricing is a bit alarming, considering their quality.

It seems like practically everything about the LSF is superior to the Life Size; sculpt, pose, mix media, and base.

Sideshow Out of the Box video.

Given that this is a Star Wars piece, I know there will be a laundry list of critiques by collectors in this forum, but overall I’m happy I preordered this piece.

The only thing I don’t like is the brown piece of clothing. I wish it were darker and more wrinkled....though I guess I can wrinkle it myself...and I’ll try to cover more of it with the white.

I’m sure it will be a lot more wrinkly out of the box than that.

I think it looks fantastic! Really happy with it. Pretty much what we saw at SDCC.

Have to say, I think he looks fairly close to the prototype. Excited to get him!
