I've worked with Kwang in the past in regards to purchasing pieces from other artists. I did in fact send him a message regarding the Platt commission, but never got a reply. Maybe I'll try again and just ask for a refund.

Haven’t logged in here for a bit. Saw this and wanted to chime in. I too was on his list for the full body commission. Was promised delivery for SDCC 2016 but he didn’t show. I flew back home and on Monday I messaged him on FB abou a refund and got a response and refund promptly.

I contacted Kwan Chang via email and explained the situation. He replied that, unfortunately, I am not the only one who has had this problem with Mr. Platt. He also went on to explain that Mr. Platt always provides either the piece or a refund (6 years though?). However, he also went on to state that even he has trouble contacting Mr. Platt. Apparently, Mr. Platt doesn't reply to anyone, not even Kwan. He assured me that he would try and contact Mr. Platt specifically about my situation and try to get the situation resolved. I'll be sure to post whatever comes of it. Here's hoping....

Yikes! I'm so sorry you've gone through this for so many years. Here's hoping Kwan can work something out for you. Thanks for sharing this situation with us and we look forward to seeing a positive resolution!
