R2-D2 Legendary Scale Figure

"To say that R2-D2 is only an astromech droid is selling this stalwart companion and adventurer short. True Star Wars fans know that without R2 there is a very real chance that the Rebellion itself would have ended in disaster. After all, it isnt every day that an overweight glob of grease is the one that saves the day.

Sideshows limited edition R2-D2 Legendary Scale Figure stands just under 2 tall and perfectly captures the digital soul of this iconic Star Wars character. Featuring a light-up head, articulated dome, reversible shoulder covers and magnetic restraining bolt, this statue is a perfect 1:2 scale representation of everyones favorite rolling blue astromech."

$2000, No ES..

Crazy! This droid better have a moving head, sound effects, crazy light effects, and a hologram projector. R2 life size at that price would be understandable. Why these two before so many others? Why not focus and finish solely on Vader LSF? Don't understand and a disappointing May 4th for me. Congrats to R2D2 and C3PO collectors though!

Vader was pretty much restarted from the beginning so has been moved back in the line. I agree these are way too rich for me, but they are nice. I look forward to seeing yours DT

I like this a lot,but these LSF SW prices are hefty. This makes LSF Yoda look like a bargain for those who bought him early for 2k with 20% percent off code

No doubt! I bought life size Yoda at the present 2400 price and it's still a bargain compared to these lol. Vader LSF is going to be 2500 or higher. Dammit.

Crazy price. I would have paid 1200.00 tops for R2. The kicker is that's it is probably all plastic.

Sideshow's prices are nuts. I would expect to pay around $2000-2500 for a 1:1 R2-D2. $2000 for 1:2 R2-D2 or $2000 for 1:2 scale Superman = Superman wins.

Couldn't you make your own, full size R2 for that price?
