Well that’s certainly concerning.

I have this displayed in a cabinet, and now I’m kind of concerned if I ever try to place another statue in the same cabinet with it.

From the base it looks like there was only one spot that had glue, the far left and from the debris you see it disintegrated. I'm lucky the top piece didn't fully break away during shipping. Who knows what kind of damage it would have done if it was floating inside the foam.

Ordered this from Sideshow seconds, she came in with the peg leg completely smashed Had to send it back for a refund because their stock was 'exhausted' - the next day I saw them put another up on seconds lmao. Shady practice.

Once they finalize my return maybe I'll try again, although the base randomly detaching would have me TERRIFIED ....

Received my replacement Scarlet Witch yesterday.

DHL delivered it and the bottom was soaked and coming apart. Opening the box it had a musky smell but thankfully there was a plastic bag protecting the art box/statue and was unaffected by the wetness.

Scarlet Witch looks great, even better than the first statue. More shading on the face.

Those of you who have this statue will know how tightly the base is in the foam, so pulling it out takes a good yank. When I pulled the base out, guess what fell out? Yup, the same piece that came off with my first statue. Let me clarify, I grabbed the base from the bottom and not the piece where the peg goes in.

Since I wanted to keep this statue, Sideshow/Iron Studios was kind enough to give me a nice gift card.

So were you able to use some sort of epoxy to adhere the two pieces back together?
