Looks like an older African/Latin-American to me- but yeah, hella impressive!
The closer I look, the more insane it is. From the vein on the temple to the striations in the lips- and all at a 1/7 scale.
That looks like industry pro-level work.

How long did it take to get to that point from scratch?

Thank you, that is very much appreciated. I'm not exactly sure what his ethnic background is but he does look like he might be of African descent. As far as how long the sculpt took, I'm not really sure, I'm very slow. The texturing probably took about 3 or 4 days.

If you don't mind me asking, what technique did you use to add texture to the skin? More specifically, the "orange peel" texture to the skin.

The pores were done by draping cellophane over the area I wanted to texture. Then I poked the plastic with a dull pin. I takes some practice but you can get some good results with this. Most of the wrinkles were done the same way but with a sharp pin.
