Is anyone buying this sculpt through Sideshow and not Bowen Designs? I'm thinking about buying from Sideshow and redeeming some of my reward points to help with the cost.

SS charges full retail though. You can get it cheaper lots of places, right? I'd save the points for something that you can't get cheaper elsewhere

I know Sideshow charges full retail but Bowen only gives 20% off the total cost of the statue and my reward points outweigh this 20% discount. For this sculpt I think you'd be hard pressed to find it cheaper somewhere else than the 20% you get from Bowen. Other places will give you a 20% or less discount but you will pay for shipping and you are not really saving money by not ordering from Bowen with his discount. Bottom line is you are not going to get this sculpt for under $200.00 and I will if I use my reward points.

I don't mind using my Sideshow reward points on this because I think it is worth it. Besides Sideshow has let me down with a lot of their recent releases. I may regret using this points now but that won't be until Sideshow produces a comic book version of the Destroyer or a PF Thanos
.

Take a look at this picture from Olivier Coipel. He has Thor's hand perpendicular to the hammer check it out.
supermn619 - I think you misunderstand what I meant... This is what I meant: Thor's hand should not be parallel to the hammer that is spinning but perpendicular to it, just like in the drawing by Coipel above.

My optimistic forecast...I hope it's max is 1000 or if this one goes to 1500 or 2000 that a modern variant is released between 200-300. I would totally buy both this classic and a modern Thor if it came out later.
