ok that was nuts

i sold my Attakus clone trooper (large ovesized box)
so i figure ill give UPS a chance as i never use them
take the box to the UPS store and the lady tells me it will be $65 for 10 day ground shipping. i tell her shes crazy and that the USPS would be half that. she says im crazy and shows me a price quote of $228 on her computer screen if i go to the USPS. i tell her thanks for her time and i make a b-line to USPS. get there and they tell me $27 prioroty / tracked / insured from VA > CA. moral of the story UPS sucks

That is outrageous.

I get statues shipped from the states to the UK with Insured USPS Global Priority Mail, and I only pay $50!

I think the most I ever paid to get a package shipped through USPS was $87 for a Luke SS Exclusive, but it did go Global Express to Japan...

i just had no idea
so glad i had never used them before
why do so many bussiness use them, do they get a mjor discount or something?

id think a bussiness would be smarter then that or quickly go out of bussiness t thoose rates
unless its because of the pick up service?

I have done Global Express to Japan, and that can get pricey but you get tracking!

UPS does suck ! I would use USPS every time!
