Nah.... Tomenosuke are perfectionists and very passionate about the movie Blade Runner especially the Blaster. They keep improving upon an impeccably well made blaster as is. Just minor tweaks here and there. From Perfect to Perfect+ etc. etc. They gotta hype up their new instalments...part of the the marketing.
PS: Gotta keep in mind though...it's only a replica...not the real prop and not a real gun either. They also have to comply with strict gun manufacturing laws of Japan which adds certain materials and engineering constraints on Tomenosuke's blaster, so it can be sold to the public as a complying replica pistol.
