Haha it sure does look like a Guitar pedal , but if you were to activate a ghost trap and needed a mechanism that was easy to press, I feel a Guitar pedal is perfect for that application.

He appears to have altered, when compared to the image on page 1. On the one hand he looks more cartoony, and on the other hand he looks more like Bill Murray. A win win situation.

Yes when the first pic you see at the beginning of this post was presented to the community it received negative feedback.

HCG hired Trevor Grove a well known sculptor to start from scratch and his head was the one HCG chose for production retail release.

I'm happy with it as it shows many different facial features of Bill Murray.

I would have liked to receive the same paint job that is pictured on the retail box, but I believe that picture was painted for the prototype and not the retail assembly line release.

For me if you play around with light in your display you can really bring out more details.

I'm happy with him, and have pre ordered Slimer so I can setup a display of Venkman aiming at Slimer.

As for the rest of the character line up I will wait and see what they come up with. I hope they stick with Trevor Grove as the Sculptor.

You are more than welcome to take a look at the video I made showing what you can do with light as it brings this piece to life not only in the Head sculpt, but also in the actual suit wrinkles.

On the subject of prototype and retail release, for better or worse, they should stay close to the prototype as buyers expect to get what they pay for (what is shown from the outset).

On this occasion, things worked out for the better (some might complain). The norm tends to be the other way around
