kratos isn`t a god, but he was given his powers by a god, that god being aries - god of war and hence the title of the game.

Not really, no. I played the first, wasn't exactly wowed. I mean it's a great game, just I dunno rather be playing something else I guess. Some parts reminded me of Mark of Kri which is one of my favourite sleeper hits, which is why I played it but the killing in GoW didn't do it for me like Mark of Kri did.

It's not a bad game, a lot of fun actually, see how Kratos being a jerk and burns the guy alive...
Will buy the game when it goes to the Greatest Hit and sell for $19.99.

I thought the first game was good. Although I got bored about 3/4 through it and I never completed it. I think I may give #2 a try once it goes down to $20.

I think considering the system's end, they should be at $20. The first one is a greatest hits now I believe.

i just rent it and finish it by the weekend... no need to buy it, the only games i buy are the hitman games, and buy the manual and go completely unnoticed, that takes longer.

I loved the first God of War game. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
